About me

The Journey is Everything

We live in an amazing world. Created by a God that wants us to enjoy and take care of all that is around us.

One of my many passions is photography. I bought my first camera in the 70’s. A Minolta 110 instant camera. After taking photos I would wait with anticipation for the film to come back in a week so I could marvel at my photography skills!!! (Remember those days? Double prints even!)

In the 1980’s, I finally bought my first “real” camera. A Minolta x700 35mm!! What an adventure that began! I could now buy more lenses! I wasn’t stuck with just a single lens, I could zoom, I could invest, and invest, and invest even more. ($insert sigh here$)

Back in the 1990’s, I finally went digital. I bought a Canon Powershot G2. Wow no film needed. I could instantly see the picture, download them to the computer, and print it out myself.

Then after several higher end Nikon digital cameras, I finally took the plunge and went with a full frame Nikon which I use today.

And I learn everyday that I don’t know much.

The Journey is everything. Don’t blink or you might miss the shot.
